Florence is a very nice place for people who love art. Even in October, however, there were a lot of tourists and the crowds in the galleries are tiring. We had previously bought a Firenze card online, which allows you to visit many museums in 72 hours, but first you need to validate it and get a plastic card, and the organization for this is bad and we lost two hours: Uffizi opens at 8:15, but you can validate the card at the earliest at 9, after which you wait in a long line again. The restaurants in the city center are numerous and affordable, be sure to try the ice cream. Florence is a fabulous city, but be prepared for lots and lots of people and long lines. Make reservations for the big attractions in advance. Florence is beautiful! The weather was great! The food was delicious! We did a lot of amazing activities, like climbing to the top of the Duomo!
