Perfect location for exploring the Amalfi Coast. Half an hour driving to Amalfi, half an hour driving to Positano. For hiking the "Path of gods" you start immediately at the residence. For getting to the "Fiordo" you descend the one thousand stairs just below the apartment. Small market shop and minimarket just near by. Also very good restaurants just near the house. Furore is around 15km from amalfi, sounds close but in reality due to the winding roads it takes around 25 minutes in a car/bus Furore is quite spread out so you need to take that in to account when staying there. Car/moped is the best method of transport followed by the bus, walking is an option but be prepared for many steep hills. Small hotel, family business, with friendly staff. The hotel is in a fantastic location, it has its own stone beach and access to the sea. By car or bus it is easy to reach Amalfi, Positano, or any other town on the Coast. The restaurant in the hotel offers very good food at reasonable prices. We liked the location, as we had our own transport and could drive to other areas with beaches and shopping, it was so nice to come back to Furore which is perfect authentic Amalfi Coast Italy as the location is absolutely beautiful, inspiring and relaxing. This is in a great location.
This is in a great location. It was more busy than I expected and driving around is tricky with the windy narrow roads. The small pool is such a beautiful location to read and relax and look at the view and a nice retreat from the heat. The breakfast is excellent and all food we had at the restaurant was great, some fresh specials every day and the kids were happy with the pasta and lemon sorbet. We would definitely visit again. Fjordo di Furore is a small but breathtaking beach accessible through one of the several stairways on the mountain from Hotel. The hotel itself is far from the busy tourist spots however, so one can enjoy a relaxing, calm environment and also a stunning panorama.
