Now I am receiving rude responses from the Hotel Rotwand saying: "we do not have "italian" personal in the hotel, from eveyone the mother language is german dialect but italian citizien, so your coment look racists or even without sense. the cleaning women is not mexican, she is peruvian like i told you. if the beef you had at dinner wasn´t right, we could change it without problem" To which I must respond that I spoke Spanish with the lovely maid. Sorry I didn't know she is Peruvian, but that's no reason call me racist. I thought Fabian was an Italian name. Again sorry but that doesn't make me racist. Wonderful clean spacious room and good breakfast. I loved the fresh figs from the garden. Perfect place for daytrips to Bolzano, the earth pyramids and Seceda (1 hour drive) and other places! The swimming pool is great and the garden well kept. The hosts/owners are very friendly and made us feel welcome. And the most important- there is no air conditioning. Staff is friendly and give as a large fan, but you must be ready that in hot days the room is quite warm. Nice breakfast, nothing too fancy but enough, large variety of pastries. Quiet location, nothing around if you want to go for a walk, but the hotel area is nice and green, with plenty of plants, even palm trees.Guest review byZaneLatvia
