We chose Lucignano for our stay because we had visited Tuscany before and wanted the experience of a smaller village. It turned out to be the perfect solution to the busyness of Tuscany. The apartment was excellent. High-end fixtures, lots of space, a very comfortable bed, and chairs in the living room we wanted to bring home. The kitchen was compact and very practical, we loved how we could hide it away behind folding doors. The AC was top notch - given our other experiences on our trip this one was so great - not loud and perfectly controlled. We think that the designer had a lighting background because the lighting was sooooo good! If you’re looking for an extremely comfortable (and affordable!) stay away from the hustle that you can come home to and sink into luxury with a lovely bottle of wine this is your spot! Special note - the villagers were very welcoming and over our 3 day stay, we felt at home.

Absolutely beautiful grounds in the Tuscan countryside. A well-maintained olive grove, gorgeous flowers and an inviting pool. Good access to many lovely towns and getting to Florence via train from Arezzo was very convenient.

It is hard to imagine such places exist. It is a piece of heaven. It's been open for a few years now, and recently in Booking, hence the relatively small amount of reviews. I do not know how to compliment this property enough. Francesco and Concetta (owners) are some of the nicest people I've even met and helped us a lot, even in a matter that is completely unrelated to our stay. Their care and love for the place is contagious. The breakfast was great, so does the pool, the room is spacious and the property itself has many attractions on its own, with many little corners to explore. The view is unbelievable. We booked it as a base for a our trip throughout Tuscany but found ourselves enjoying just spending our time in the property as well.

A friend and I were on a bike ride and this was our first stop. The owners were great! They cold beers for us and since we had been riding all day offered to take us up the hill to a nice local place for dinner. Great hosts and a very comfortable place to stay!

The rooms were really comfortable with a great bathroom. The staff couldn't have been more attentive and were so generous giving us lots of dishes to try - for free. The restaurant and bar facilities were terrific and great value.

    Very cozy hotel in the heart of Tuscany, in a very picturesque authentic village. We enjoyed the views, local attractions and cuisine. Chiara welcomming. She was always in touch, helped us resolve all issues regarding accommodation and gave us recommendations on choosing places with good cuisine.
