We came by car from Cinque Terre and drove the side roads which was a beautiful trip in the country. The accommodation at the winery was excellent, food superb and peace and quiet much needed. Cute market on a Wednesday morning with a good fish van. Fantastic beach at Green Bay on Orbetello next to Porto Ecole, go to Trattoria Le Mandorlaie on the way to Scansano for fantastic suckling pig, or eat in Da Sandra in Magliano for amazing steaks. A hidden gem in Tuscany, and only and hour and a half from Fiumicino airport by car. And make sure to try Morellino di Scansano, it's a great local wine.Guest review bynickUnited Kingdom

The likeable family members are friendly and generous and there is relaxing atmosphere. The rustic-style rooms are large and airy with a high standard of cleanliness. The beautiful gardens are very well kept and there is a charming swimming pool. Not far from the coast and many other fascinating places. For day trips, Rome is only a couple of hours away.
