Marsala is not that big, the city center is small but charming, a part from that it is not that safe outside the center. The streets are devoided of people and you feel unsafe, my gf got catcalled from the balcony of a house. Marsala is a beautiful town easy to walk around with many pedestrianised streets . Many local restaurants bar and cafe . Fantastic barque architecture . Lovely place, close to everything, Lidl close by. Walking distance from train station and close to bus station. I had a lovely guide show me around the town that is family of Sabrina and brilliant with the history of Marsala.. You can easily do day trips from Marsala to the islands as well.
