It's away from the noise of the crowds but still a 20 minutes bus drive away (so you don't have to worry about parking or driving those tight roads) - and the way over is very beuatiful. Massa Lubrense itself is beautiful, it has nice mountain views, nice people and nice restaurants, supermarkets and shops. It is also 'on the way' to the Amalfi coast, so if you're planning on continuing your trip later its a nice place to stick around for a while.Guest review byHarelIsrael - 10

This area is a perfect base for visiting the Amalfi Coast. The bus takes you to Sorrento one way and Positano the other, but can get full up quickly. However there are taxis around if you prefer. This is an adorable and cozy little harbor community, that feels like Family. Overseen by Angelo and his family, who own the bar, alimentaria, and other key facilities, it is a congregated entertainment opportunities that allow you to stay and have everything you need right at hand! Our stay at Ristorante Hotel La Primavera could not have been better. The room and hotel were wonderful. The food was great. Best of all the service was 5 star! My wife and I were treated like special guests and family the entire time. Claudio, Nino, Luigi, and Marina and the kitchen staff went out of their way to make everything perfect. The beaches around are awesome (at least for Sorrento / Amalfi coast standards). BY ALL MEANS do take the advantage of the half board option. You will be fed so well if you pick wisely - order the local dishes and frutti di mare, and you’ll be in culinary heaven. What La Tavernetta lacks in service, it makes up for in the kitchen. It's absolutely stunning to see the sunset over the Capri from the balcony, enjoy the phenomenal dinner made with love and served under the lemon trees or just to sense the nature surrounding this place. The staff were nice & accommodating. My room was very nice, with a great view and setting of the Amalfi coast. The rooftop bar and pool was excellent and relaxing. Overall it is set in a peaceful location despite it being on a main road.
