Friendly host. Apartament lack only wash machine. Everything else is there. Host handover keyfob for gate, so you can park your car inside on the yard which is great in this area. Apartament is clean and comfortable. You can get fresh towels and bedsheet anytime you need. I spent there more than 3 months and this is the best place I stayed in.

The hotel was very good, in every aspect. We were very happy to put the car on the private parking. On arriving on a Sunday, we were surprised to see a lot of people in the street close to the hotel. We thought there was some festivity going on, but there are crowds in town each sunday, as this is the place of a very well known sanctuary : San Gerardo di Massi.

What a charming place with the most delightful staff who were so kind and welcoming! The rooms were clean and comfortable. It is set in a lovely position with great views. The breakfast was good and the coffee excellent. Highly recommend!

Clean, comfortable apartment in a very quiet street, very close to supermarket. Kitchen equipment was sufficient for simple meals. Gerardo was easy to communicate with, and the front terrace was great for storing our bikes.

I usually don't write any reviews about the places I stay at, but this one at Casa Philomena was exceptional! Rarely have I experienced such warm hospitality, kind-hearted hosts or passion to make a guest feel welcome. I nearly wasn't able to go to Lioni, so my lovely host offered to pick me up from the bus station in Avellino for a little fare and even cooked a home-made pasta lunch with regional products for me <3 Afterwards, we ventured out for a little trip to the local waterfall. The house/upper floor itself is amazing, cute and exactly what I expected from a well-kept place in charming Irpinia. Thank you, Ms Filomena & Mr Gustavo, for everything and giving me the best and most fantastic Lionese experience thinkable!

La Casetta di Vitty is located in a peaceful spot in the valley, within the urban area. The house is spacious and well furnished, as described. Gerardo was welcoming and made my stay very comfortable, storing my bicycle for the night. I really felt at home!

    Our visit to Materdomini was only for one evening.

    Our visit to Materdomini was only for one evening. Our host was delightful .... warm, friendly, professional and very attentive ... just perfect!. We had secure parking on the property at our front door (a major bonus); the people in the cafes/bars and shops in the town, likewise were very welcoming; there was an abundance of cafe/bars and restaurants within a few minutes' walk; and the streets were clean and well maintained. Antonietta's apartment in Materdomini was ideal in every way for our needs, and we will be returning for a second overnight stay in one week's time.
