the staff is very helpful and welcoming, we felt like at home. clean room and comfortable bed. it's nice that they provide coffee machine, small fridge, tea, water, biscuits, tissues etc. in the room for free which is very helpful when you are tired after travel. Air-conditioning and wifi worked well. the breakfast was super good - high variety, not only sweet things which is rare in Italy - they even had good tea. The staff is serving you at breakfast. they offer home-made cafes with fruit from their own garden. Ca pinotta has a really nice garden, I recommend it for families with kids. The staff speaks Italian, French and English and is very friendly. very nice quiet area. good price for the quality.

Amazing hotel! The whole hotel is designed like a palace. Every corner looks like a museum. We got a room with a balcony and a view of the lake, simply stunning! The insulation is perfect! A romantic and pampering hotel, the beds and pillows are really comfortable. The breakfast is excellent! And the spa with the indoor pool and the outdoor ones are simply stunning. No words! Amazing location, right at the Orta Lake! Fantastic dinner, breakfast in the restaurant of the hotel. Top quality service!! The owner was always present and very-very service-orientated and generous with the guests. This will be certainly our regular place from now on. Beautiful combination of mountains, palm trees, lake and fantastic Italian cuisine!! Fantastic for apero, as well.

The staff were incredible-I had read some previous reviews about the staff but could not believe how outstanding they all were. One person in particular who sticks in my memory is Alexander who works at the bar-he is a real asset to your hotel. The breakfast was also sublime

    We booked a week vacation for our small family (two adults,...

    We booked a week vacation for our small family (two adults, a 10-year-old child, and a small dog), mainly with the intent of spending the time hiking in the mountains, and relaxing in nature. Miazzina was absolutely perfect for this! Our favorite hike was to Runchio - a tiny village accessible only by foot, a short hike through the picturesque mountains from Miazzina. The paths were well-maintained and, despite our relative inexperience with mountain hiking, easy enough for our family. The view of Lago Maggiore from the observation point at Runchio is magnificent and highly recommended! From Miazzina, you can also take a very short drive down the mountain to Verbania, where you can walk along Lago Maggiore (with spectacular lake and mountain views!), visit Villa Taranto botanical gardens, take a ferry to the Borromean islands (with yet another botanical garden). We've already booked our next stay, so we can do a few more things we missed on our trip!
