In the apartment you do not hear the trains passing by in the pool area it is also not an issue at all. You can walk in 25-30 minutes to the sea to lovely bay (Mary rock) or the large beach, or 10 minutes, by bike. Scauri has long cycli track and if you go more to south also easy to cycli pn country road. Also excellent to visit gaeta and Minturno. The hosts are incredibly welcoming. The large terrace with a stunning sea view is a real highlight! The beach is just a 3-minute walk away, 10 minutes to the supermarket, and about 15 minutes to the town center with lots of cafes and restaurants.
