Clearly the best hotel to stay when visiting Monopoli. Well run by friendly, professional staff who are all most helpful. Location is great, wonderful seaside walk to the heart of the old town. Rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Thank you to all the ladies at the front office as well as the gentleman who took care of our car and luggage - for outstanding service.

The staff is very friendly and the concierge was extremely helpful in recommending places to visit and great restaurants. On entering the property and the hotel you are immediately surrounded by magnificent olive trees which gives this hotel a very special flair.

İt was my most pleasent stay in Puglia. The room was very nice right on the water. Breakfast in the room's balcony and than jump in the water. the food was excellent, so was the service of all the staff.

The accomodation is an historical building, great architecture, but the staff was the highlight of our staying. Stella, the receptionist, is a 10, amazing and very helpful. Also, we very much enjoyed the breakfast, great local products and nice variety. Overall highly recommend!

amazing location on a quiet cobbled street just a minute’s walk from the main square with its many bars and restaurants. The room is just as pictured- and is brand new and super clean with a lovely design. Monopoli itself is fabulous and we loved our stay there very much! Sara was also very kind and helpful and helped us organize a taxi to our next destination in Puglia which we really appreciated :)

    Beautiful old town, with a huge number of restaurants and bars. Food was excellent throughout. Staff everywhere were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to help. We visited in September and it was very busy - We can only imagine it is too crowded and too hot in peak summer months. Be aware that beaches are small, but there are a number of them, within walking distance, or by taxi to larger beach clubs. The old town is really beautiful, with tiny streets, squares and alleyways. Worth packing comfy shoes and just wandering.

    Monopoli was a perfect base for us to see Puglia.

    Monopoli was a perfect base for us to see Puglia. Loved getting lost in the maze of narrow streets in the Old Town. Recommended Calette Torre Cintola to a couple staying at our hotel and they loved it as well. Also Recommended Micasa which has great location, friendly staff and great food at reasonable prices.

    The old town is super cute!

    The old town is super cute! some great artisan stores and even a great vintage clothing store! The dining scene is excellent and ranges from rustic homey feel to more upmarket but all very affordable! Great wines flow from all bars and restaurants. Osteria Perricci and Bar Pizzeria Restaurant Porto Rosso were among favourites for food.

    Monopoli is a really great vibrant little seaside town and makes an excellent base to explore Puglia. Only downside for summer 2025 at least is that the city beach is closed 😔 you can access the sea over rocks, or drive/take the train to areas with actual beaches.

    An interesting, historic and well preserved / maintained town with a number of great sights and places to visit all within walking distance. Many great restaurants, bars and cafes all serving excellent dishes, but at tourist prices.

    Perfect location in Monopoli and Monopoli in fact is the best location in Puglia at all! Wonderful design of the rooms, the dining room, etc- the place has been decorated with the great taste and it seems to be completly new. Quiet room with comfortable bed. Very tasty breakfasts.
