Matteo and this girlfriend have done a beautiful job of restoring his grandfather's house. It is stylish and tasteful, and full of original furniture and vintage finds. We were originally in a room next to a couple with a barking dog and Matteo went out of this way to prepare a different room so we could move, even though he was very busy getting ready for dinner. He is a very friendly and kind host and is available for anything you could need. This is a beautiful and restful place with great food and excellant hospitality. A great place to relax with beautiful countryside all around. Very large rooms and comfortable beds. It is only one hour from Bologna.

Very nice apartment just a few minutes walk from the centre of Castelvetro. The apartment is well equipped and comfortable. The hosts were very helpful and responded quickly to any questions. When we stayed (very end of August), parking was available nearby either on the street or in a carpark just a few minutes away. Google maps led us astray a bit, so I suggest you use the exact destination provided by the hosts.

The position is amazing. Beautiful country side, quiet, close to the village for restaurants & the best host. Our host Ilaria was so helpful. She helped us organise our days with visits to Parmesan & traditional balsamic factories, as well as village fairs & traditional Italian restaurants.
