Breakfast was fantastic. We slept wonderfully. We were walking the Via Francigena and their laundry service completed everything very quickly. The dinner was excellent. The Staff were fantastic. Despite the relatively high cost, this location ranked 4th overall of the 20 nights of the Via Francigena walk.

This place was absolutely amazing. The hosts were incredibly nice and helpful, the area was beautiful, the room was very comfortable and spacious, and the view through the window (mine was facing the square) was great. I also got to taste a glass of locally made wine which was amazing and my heart broke that my trip was to difficult for me to purchase a bottle (I'm still hoping that maybe there is a way for me to order one online and have it shipped, because it would be absolutely worth it). Visiting this place was my dream come true and I can't wait to come back there.

Great location between Monteriggioni, San Gimignano, and Siena on an amazing old farm in Tuscany. Great facilities, easy parking, Great food and wine, and splendid views. So much more peaceful compared to the touristy Venice, Florence, and Rome. You share the site with a only a handful of other couples and families. They also have a great pool to cool off in after a day of sightseeing. And the owners and staff were very helpful and accommodating.

Located on a rural road in a restored historical convent…easy access both to Siena and Monteriggioni, albeit on back roads if you use Apple or Google maps for fastest routes…well supplied with necessities…Andrea was very pleasant to deal with…plenty of parking right next to the apartment…great photographic view outside the dining and bedroom windows…we had a wonderful stay!!

The room had a very nice and beautiful interior, was clean, comfortable, well equipped. The views around the villa are amazing - 360° beauty everywhere. Amazing spot for beautiful sunsets. Friendly and very accommodating host and staff! We received good reccommedations. Breakfast was delicious. Wines were really good. Would love to come back!

Friendly hosts in a beautiful relaxing apartment. Very clean and spacious with wonderful, comfortable furniture and decor. There is plenty of space in the open floor plan of the kitchen and living room. The kitchen is also well stocked. We totally enjoyed a tour of the farm and animals. There were flowers everywhere, along with outside decorations, which made walks around the property so enjoyable. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

Fantastic little town with tonnes of restaurants and cafes to choose from. The museum ticket is great value as it gets you into lots of the historic sights. We enjoyed the weaponry exhibit as you were allowed to hold and try on the different artefacts which was cool! We parked nearby and paid with card on exit (only line up at the ticket machine if you’re paying cash). The onsite wine shop (connected to the popular winery near by) was delicious too. Would definitely recommend this town for people to visit and dine at!

Our hosts made us feel so welcome. We enjoyed a free wine tasting experience on the property downstairs. That have their own wineries. We would dearly love to return to Monteriggioni. This medieval town is the perfect location for a base to explore Tuscany.

A great stop on the Via Francegina.

A great stop on the Via Francegina. At the end of a 20 mile hike it was our goal and destination for the day. Climbing the hill to the old castle at sunset was a memorable experience and dinner on the plaza was perfect.

the best experience Elisa Chatzivasiliadou + friends Wonderful experience! I don't know what to say first! A beautiful hotel, clean, spacious, wonderful smiling people and helpful. Sufficiently equipped spaces, traditional rooms with modern touches. The breakfast is handmade, rich, handmade jams, omelets from the chef and tarts made the same day. The lobby of the restaurant, the common area is wonderful, a large fireplace dominates the center, sofas and armchairs in different arrangements serve to relax and rest the visitor. The ping-pong table proved to be a lifesaver for the teenagers in our group, while the lovely staff took care of our drinks. The pool area is clean and beautiful, complementing the beauty of the landscape. The outdoor space is lovely, lush and well-kept. Tranquility, relaxation, the embodiment of "dolce far niente", in an idyllic landscape. Our stay there will be unforgettable. Wish we could have stayed longer.

I liked that the property was on a farm and that it was...

I liked that the property was on a farm and that it was environmentally friendly and organic. Being near Seina meant the property was placed centrally and we were able to drive to the likes of Florence, Siena, Lucca and Arezzo all within slightly over one hour and yet be in a beautiful peaceful location for our evenings.

We had an absolutey amazing stay at Borgo San Luigi. The property is kept very clean with beautiful views, Tuscan trees, a pool and large lawns with cut grass to stroll or to relax in one of the many lounge chairs. When we arrived, we were met outside by Jasmine who was so welcoming and friendly. We knew immediately that we were going to enjoy our visit. She was so helpful with any request or questions we had and also to help with recommendations to visit farms and wineries in the area. The breakfast buffet was large with everything you would ever expect from a world class buffet and had a great atmosphere when getting the day started. Mario, our waiter in the restaurant, took great care of us. He is very professional, friendly and helped us with the delicious food and wine selections during lunch and dinner. Jhonny served us drinks around the pool during the day and at night he served in the lounge area which has a pool table and a fireplace. He was professional, friendly and also very funny. The owner introduced himself. He was always on site, making sure that all was clean and running smoothly. First Class all the way!!! What a great stay we had, we didn't want to leave and we can't wait to go back.

Stefano, his wife and the other staff were extremely attentive from the beginning. The wine tasting was an invaluable plus! But my biggest compliment goes to the decoration and cleanliness of the room, in addition to the enormous consideration they have for women: they have hair conditioner in the bathroom. It may seem silly, but we women know the difference this makes since it has become a rare item. Congratulations to whoever thought of this and I will go back there every time I go to Monteriggioni.

The apartment feels quite remote, but Siena and all of Tuscany are close. We loved the location. Very peaceful and green. It was well equipped and comfortable while still having the old farmhouse feel. Nice to have a spacious shower after other apartments. Our host Maddalena was very helpful.

This hotel is situated within the fortified walls of Monteriggioi, so to stay there is very unique. You drive in through the walled gate. Quite an experience. The property has a large car park behind their building, it is quite amazing considering the small size of Monteriggioni.
