The small village of Motta Camastra is picturesque; the view is amazing and the small bar in the centre makes exceptionally delicious and cheap sweets. However, you will need a car to get there, and the main parking is on an uphill so make sure that the driver is a confident one. There is not much to see other than the views, so 2 hours for a walk around, coffee and sweets is more than enough. The views from the balcony are breathtakingly beautiful! We stayed here, because we visited the “Mamme del borgho” (we absolutely recommend this!), but the Alcantara Valley is also nearby.
