Everything is exceptional in Camurria: - excellent location in the heart of the ancient center of Piazza Armerina (central and quiet). - the room is large, pretty, comfortable, newly furnished and tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, very good bedding, great shower and especially remarkable sound insulation – in a single word: flawless. - Breakfast is exceptional - Mr. Davide asks guests in the evening what they prefer for breakfast and prepares (in our case vegetarian) customized breakfast both savory and sweet with excellent products. Our host Davide is a particularly charming host, and hosted us in an exemplary manner . He could not have done more to make us comfortable and welcome. Thank you Davide for a great experience!

We left Taormina after breakfast and arrived at the Villa Romana del Casale before noon. The remains of the 4th century villa is definitely a unique stop while touring the island. Leaving the villa, it was a short drive through Piazza Armerina to the beautiful B&B Villa Bentivoglio. Our B&B hosts, Valentina & Luigi, welcomed us to their beautiful, typical Sicilian country home. The whole time we were with this lovely couple, we used the handy ‘Translate app,’ to accurately communicate. We were staying only one night so we were lodging in the recently renovated main house. After unloading luggage, Valentina offered us snacks and drink while telling us about the Villas property and amenities. She offered suggestions for dinner in Piazza Armerina, and shared there is also a pizza delivery service that will come to the villa. We drove into town, but decided to return to B&B Villa Bentivoglio without dinner, finding ourselves alone in the house. We were unsuccessful ordering from the pizza delivery service. We called Valentina and Luigi, who were in town, and explained our mess-up and asked them if they would call the delivery service for us. Our hosts offered to assist us. Foregoing dinner in town, Valentina and Luigi returned to the B&B, sharing FOUR pizzas and arancini. Luigi even opened a bottle of the wine created on their property! We were welcomed at their table as family. This 2-hour meal, communicating via the translator, was one of our favorite meals in Sicily, sharing stories and lots of laughs. The next morning, we enjoyed a hot breakfast, prepared by Giusy, by the pool. After breakfast, Luigi gave us a personal tour of the whole property, showing us the stand-alone, newly renovated guest villas, the garden and areas for future expansion. Luigi put the Land Rover in 4WD and we climbed to the top of the property to view the whole area. Luigi is very proud of the property… as he should be.

I recently stayed one night at B&B Flora in Piazza Armerina and had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the town, making it easy to explore local attractions like Villa Romana del Casale. The room was clean, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. The bed provided a great night's sleep, and the modern amenities were much appreciated. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring fresh pastries, fruits, and excellent coffee. The hosts were incredibly warm and helpful, offering great recommendations and making me feel at home. B&B Flora is a true gem, and I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Piazza Armerina. I look forward to staying longer on my next visit.

    It's an ancient town with several museums.

    It's an ancient town with several museums. Most importantly, it's only 10 minutes drive from Villa Romana, where you can see the most important and extensive Roman mosaics in the world. They will take your breath away! Get there early and the coaches won't have arrived. Most important tip - if you come by car - get a SMALL one. The roads are tiny and I don't know how a large car would manage.

    I highly recommend visiting Villa Romana del Casale which...

    I highly recommend visiting Villa Romana del Casale which was remarkable. However Piazza Armerina itself does not cater for visitors well with very few options for evening meals. I stayed in the Centro Storico and it may have been better in the newer part of the town

    A wonderful place, full of history and atmosphere. From visiting incredible sites such as Villa Romana del Casale to strolling within the wonderful architecture of the city, to the impressive Basilica with fantastic views.

    It was nice to have plenty of time to visit Villa Romana del Casale. I enjoyed a small group tour with Get Your Guide, and I went back a second time on my own because there is so much to see, a UNESCO treasure!

    A very charming and clean hilltop town, with spectacular views, beautiful churches, lovely shops and restaurants. Close to Villa del Casale with the magnificent 4c Roman mosaics, a wonder of the world and UNESCO site.

    Piazza Armerina is a wonderful town in the centre of Sicily. Not only do you find there the most beautiful Roman mosaics in the nearby Villa Romana del Casale. The historic city of Piazza Armerina is a splendid and picturesque place. The panoramic view of the historic city from the famous viewpoint is one of the most breathtaking views in Sicily. Nearby you also find the interesting Aidone and Morgantina.

    We compare this stay to several others in Sicily. Our room was adjacent to the dining room Host was heplful. Breakfast was excellent. Room was average but nice and clean. WiFi was fine. Few power plugs Bed was 2 narrow mattresses on the bed but it was comfortable. There was a nice view from the window. Bathroom was in a walled off area of the room and worked fine B&B was central to the Centro Historico which was easy to walk around - not so many steps here !

    Very friendly, welcoming, helpful and interested host. He will give you all advice you need in Piazza Armerina. The apartment is comfortable and pleasant. If you want you will get a delicious, salty sicilian sandwich for breakfast, just ask for it. The location is excellent and central. You will find shuttle buses to Villa Casale nearby within walking distance. Delightful stay!

    The apartment is very modern and comfortable. It is in a secure area and near to Villa del Casale and Piazza Armerina city centre by car. The owner Giulia is very helpful and nice to talk to. Breakfast is good. The apartment is also surrounded by a very big garden with very nice views. Parking is safe behind an electronic gate. A wonderful experience!

    Villa Trigona is an absolute gem in the heart of Sicily. Beautifully located, friendly staff (all of them!), nice atmosphere, nearly all is perfect. Parking is onsite and behind a fence, the swimming pool is great and the dinner is fantastic. We were on the road to Palermo coming from Catania and this is a brilliant stop.
