    Pistoia is a small town, not Firenze or even the size of Lucca. However, it has amazing architecture and plenty to explore. There are many, many restaurant choices, it's clean, safe and appealing. It's so easy to drive in and walk to the center. Prices are low. We loved the ease of dining after a day of exploring. A GREAT stepping off point to Florence and Lucca by car or train.

    Pistoia is not very well known, but we were pleasantly surprised at the interesting medieval character of the town. It is quite small, and it's enjoyable to walk in the narrow streets and open piazzas. There are some super restaurants offering delicious local dishes.

    Pistoia is an easy train ride from Florence. The city is very walkable, clean, beautiful and filled with interesting history, museums and architecture. There are lovely shops and great dining options. I would highly recommend a weekend trip to Pistoia.

    Pistoia is a great place to visit when you have been...

    Pistoia is a great place to visit when you have been visiting all the other major cities in Italy and just want some time out. It is a quieter town, you can walk around within a few hours easily. People are friendly and it is sometimes nice to regroup when you’ve got a busy itinerary.

    A gem of a town!

    A gem of a town! Lots of wonderful shops, restaurants and bars to choose from. The locals were always kind and patient with my attempt at speaking italian! Great night life, the centre is awash with locals out eating and drinking every night. The train station is a short walk outside the pedestrian area, with trains to take you all over tuscany and beyond.

    Everything, the great renovated building. The quality of every element used in this renovation. The landscape around. The rural feeling that embraces you.     Really peaceful and beautiful surroundings yet within a stone’s throw of Pistoia. Great for multi-family groups to stay at same place in separate units. Great pool, wonderful (really wonderful) breakfast. Great bbq area and private patios were a nice touch.
