The hotel was right in the middle of everything you want to see in Ragusa Ibla! The hotel is a combination of a palace and a convent that were seamlessly connected and renovated into a beautiful hotel. The room was modern and very clean, and the breakfast that was served in an upper floor had an amazing view and the ability to enjoy breakfast outdoors if you would like. There were so many Delicious choices, including eggs, meats, breads, yogurt, fruit, juices, and different types of coffees made when you ask, all of the staff was super helpful and super kind, including Sophia at the front desk and at breakfast!

We stayed in both a room and an apartment during our stay. Both were really lovely, and I highly recommend Lues Rooms. The hosts, Ludovico and Esmeralda, were fantastic! They helped us with our luggage, found us a parking space, and provided a sightseeing map and lots of ideas on how to spend your time in Ragusa. The location can’t be beat!

The room was just like in the photos....so I like that they were true how their hotel really is. The staff was so nice, and open to help. We had a package delivered and they very kindly had it already in our room the day we checked in. The location is a 10 minute walk from the main historic street, but it also is very well located. The shower was great, the bed very comfortable, and the hotel areas as well as our room was very clean. The staff at the breakfast was super kind and made us a nice little breakfast!

A beautiful spot to explore, steeped in history. Ragusa is a great location to explore the surrounding area. We loved walking the winding streets of Ragusa Ibla. The churches were wonderful to wander inside. We had a wonderful meal at Bar Degli Archi opposite the church of Purgatory.

Ragusa has good infrastructure for a holiday - insofar as there are cafés and restaurants at various price points and plenty of baroque buildings, particularly in Ibla, that make it a very attractive place to stay (this was our second visit). It is handily placed for day trips to the other cities of Southern Baroque Sicily (Scicli, Modica, Noto and Syracusa) but it should be remembered that Sicily is a huge island and therefore Ragusa is by no means a convenient jumping off point for cities in the North (Taormina, Palermo etc.) The island has so much to commend it that it would be daft to try and tick everything off during a single visit in any case. Don't set targets, slow down and enjoy.

We enjoyed Ragusa a great deal.

We enjoyed Ragusa a great deal. Ragusa Superiore, where the hotel is located, was easy to approach by car, which was useful for us and situated across from the street from an impressive cathedral. We enjoyed the walks down to Ragusa Ibla, where we spent two afternoons wandering the narrow streets, enjoying the sites, and were able to take a public bus back up to Ragusa Superiore with little trouble. Staying in the upper part of Ragusa allowed us to experience both parts of this small city. Both parts of Ragusa come alive in the evening when shops re-open, and people head out to dinner. Having coffee or granita in any square is a great treat, as is visiting green spaces, like the garden in Ragusa Ibla.

Very interesting village, friendly and welcoming residents, fascinating architecture and history. Quiet at night meant a good nights rest.Food choices excellent and especially the range and quality of gluten free options for those who suffer from celiac disease. Very relaxing place to stay

So far Ragussa was our favorite city in Sicily.

So far Ragussa was our favorite city in Sicily. It’s beautiful. Our hotel is fantastic and the beauty of the upper town and lower town is just wonderful. I wish we had stayed two or three nights rather than just one. It was our favorite city in Sicily so far. If you are going to Sicily, don’t miss Ragusa.

Ragusa is a beautiful town full of churches and baroque achitecture. At night time it comes to life with a lovely family friendly dining atmosphere. It is very hard to walk around- the hills make it a hard walk, and the days can be hot. Apart from eating and drinking and building watching there is not a lot in Ragusa, so a day or two is plenty. If you dont like churches and architecture, I would skip.

The property is very special. It's a stones throw from the duomo and main square of Ragusa Ibla but in a quiet(ish) narrow street (although we were there in October so everywhere was pretty quiet). The architecture and decor makes it feel like a design hotel but with only a few rooms, its personal and special. The host was exceptionally helpful and the breakfast amazing as it was brought over from the Michelin starred restaurant across the street. The whole experience was fabulous and made for a truly memorable stay.

We were impressed by how spacious the room was, and having our own full kitchen was a major benefit. The location is excellent for exploring on foot, as it's not far from the heart of Ragusa Ibla.
