The winery lodge is located in a small town and is a working winery. It is quaint and our room was spacious and beatifully presented and had an amazing bathroom. Bottled waster was provided each day - although there was no fridge in the room. We enjoyed both wine tasting and an excellent dinner - available to guests on Saturday night. It was a very relaxed place to stay. Staff were friendly and accomodating. Parking was secure inside the property and there was charging point for electric cars.

Beautiful property in a lovely location, and the wines were phenomenal. Be sure and do a wine tasting. Breakfast was a real treat; plenty of choices and we felt spoiled. Our room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom was very nice also. The staff was extremely accommodating and helpful. We’re so thankful to have met and talked with Giuliana. She was a joy to spend time with and so very knowledgeable; Braida is fortunate to have her. In addition, Maria was wonderful to us as well. We will definitely be back—loved every minute of our stay.

If you like a quiet private studio with air conditioning and a pool in a real hazelnut farm with engaged hosts, you found the right place.  The hosts went above and beyond to give us a perfect week, we received a daily tip per WhatsApp and could ask for help with reservations or to book a private wine tasting. They even invited us to a BBQ with friends and a late night grappa. The property is surrounded by trees and the pool is on top of a small hill with a nice view and a bit more wind. The studio has a fridge and coffee machine, making it ideal to have your own breakfast.

La Canonica was wonderful. The apartment was the perfect size for our family of 4, and was beautiful. It's a great location to walk to anything in Nizza Monferrato. We loved meeting Silvia, she was so helpful and kind. We also enjoyed eating at her restaurant, Tanti, which is right across the street. Highly recommend La Canonica, we would absolutely return if we are able to make it back to Nizza!

It was clean, quiet, and had cute decor. Parking was easy, the breakfast room was bright and looked onto the pool, homemade apple and persimmon cake was out of this world. Antonella and Melissa are amazing hostesses and gave us good tips about what to see in the area. We hope to visit them again soon.

    Very quiet stay ,little village not far from the hills of...

    Very quiet stay ,little village not far from the hills of piemonte. In 3km you're between the wineyards ......Recommendation to visit asti,genova, barolo,barbaresco,cuneo but also the trips proposed of the hotel! It's really a beautiful region.....also visit canale montferrato and other montferrato's...... Try to discover the many ''big benches'' it gives a lovely view on the superb landscape.....!!! I come back in september to see the colours of automn !!!! And last but not least...the food is great! From pizza's to pasta's and other...The hotel offers a very good dinner for correct price and try the local wine...it's great! I would give it a 9 /10......
