Sarzana is an interesting, beautiful old town strategically positioned between the Liguria cities and beaches, and the Lunigiana. From there there is lots to explore, and a lot to enjoy in the town itself. Especially in the summer (Ma-August) for the cultural events organized by Angelo Tonelli for the series called "MYTHOS-LOGOS". Cinque terre very close by, and Lerici, Tellaro, Amelia, Pietrasanta, Massa and Carrara. There are great options for breakfast in the vicinity, as well as several restaurants for dinner. It is a short distance to the train station, it is possible to travel by train to La Spezia.
