Loved the old buildings, churches etc but disappointed we could not go into the castle (our fault as I did not check opening hours beforehand) - a great reason for a return visit. Beautiful old town on top of a hill near San Remo. Has a very interesting (and kind of amusing) history. The centre has some steep small alleyways dating from the Middle Ages. They are beautiful, but perhaps not accessible for those with mobility problems… Has a couple of restaurants, but they aren’t always open outside of the season.
