We stopped at Palazzo San Gervasio during a bicycle trip from Basilicata and Apulia. The ride to and from Palazzo SG is absolutely one of a kind in Italy, since there are miles and miles of open farmland. Enzo, the owner is also an avid bicyclist so that made all the difference to us, since he provided a dedicated space for our bikes in his shop and sold us some replacement tubes. The room with bathroom we rented is high in the building so we had a view of the valley from the balcony. Everything was clean and new.

I didn't realize when booking that the property was also a vineyard but it was an extra pleasant surprise since we love wine! The room was perfect, the hosts we're very friendly, the breakfast was the best we had in italy, and the wine was fantastic!
