This was a quick stay for me. I choose it because it was walking distance from the train station. I arrived late and left early. It was perfect for me. Everyone who attended me was incredibly nice and helpful. Even pouring me a glass of wine from the cafe bar which was closed when I arrived; much appreciated after a long two days of travel.

Beautiful hotel extremely well situated. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Very close to all of the main sites of Spoleto. In close walking distance lots of lovely restaurants, highly recommend the "Trattoria Del Festival" excellent food and friendly staff.

Excellent room, helpful staff, wonderful location. We also loved the trails for hiking (across the aquaduct) and the cosy mediaval town close to the hotel. Excursions to Perugia and Assisic were nice interludes between hiking days.

It’s a fantastic place to visit! So much to see! I went back up to the Casa Romana and the Teatro Romano and both were well worth the visit. La Rocca has incredible views and a very interesting museum. Then you can go down to the aqueduct, which is stunning.

A small historic centre on a hillside, with beautiful scenery and cute streets. A great place to sit and watch the world go by. There are a good few interesting historical sites to visit right the the town centre, which is very easy to reach from the train station. It has great places to eat including Osteria del Matto (fixed menu with great freshly cooked, food, but not suitable for vegetarians) and Contrasti Cucina e Ozio, with a high-quality menu and still reasonable prices. La Bottega is wonderful for a glass of wine with quality local salumi, cheese or porchetta. There are really handy underground moving walkways to help you up or down the steep streets and shade you from the hot weather. The bars in the main square offer small aperitivo included in the price of a drink at all times of the day. There is a lot of construction right now(summer 2025) to upgrade older buildings , but I'm sure this will only improve the town.

Beautiful historic town with many restaurants, winding streets, squares In which to sit and people watch. Two Worlds Festival brought lovers of drama, music, opera, ballet and art to the town but didn’t feel too full. However, pre-book accommodation and restaurants near to the venues. Access to centre of Spoleto can be via underground light and airy passageways and travelators if you want to avoid the climb in the heat of the day! Surrounded by beautiful wooded countryside in which to discover hidden gems, waterfalls, lakes and hiking trails.

Not sure why anyone would stay here - much nicer places such as Todi and Montefalco. All restaurants seemed to be shut in evening - had to resort to a slice of takeaway pizza. Many many buildings covered in boarding and scaffolding

WE were greeted by two lovely women with the keys!. They had a taxi reserved for us a few days later to go to the train station. The location and the outdoor terrazzo was beyond our imaginations. It was our last stop in Italy and we were truly amazed. The views were spectacular!. Access to their incredible what I call an escalator to the top of the old city was very close..(it truly was so easy). The very old 1100yr old church at our feet!. The busy piazza at night...could not have been more perfect!.

Comfortable bed, armchair in bedroom, good wifi reception in bedroom, small desk for laptop, wall-mounted tv in room (Italian channels only). Quiet, even though near a busy main road. 2 minutes' walk from two good supermarkets. The centro storico of Spoleto is easily reachable on foot via the mechanised walkway from Posterna. The garden is very pleasant and would be a lovely place to relax in the warmer weather.

The peaceful surroundings of the villa set on the edge of the village made for a welcome respite after a days walking from Spoleto. Our host had organised dinner and arranged our transport to a nearby restaurant with exceptional local food. This was followed by a sumptuous breakfast in the villa and the invitation to take left overs for our lunch as we continued walking on the Way of the St Francis.

Very big, comfortable and clean apartment with lots of space and good furniture in the quiet, peaceful countryside. Lovely views. Near to a supermarket and the lovely town of Spoleto. Good base for touring other hilltop towns eg Montefalco, Bevagna, Trevi and Spello by car. Swimming pool was super. Had a washing machine too. Mosquito netting and shutters very effective.
