    We found Tessera to be a convenient location to visit Venice, it was as a quieter and budget friendly base with easy access to the airport and the city itself. From here we were able get easy access the old Venice using public transport.

    Tessara is perfect for ease of access to flights in and out of Venice's Marco Polo Airport. We didn't vacation there at all but used it for overnight stays prior to morning flights. Travel from Venice, itself, to the airport can take a fair amount of time: if you are flying internationally, the travel time to get to the airport and be there to accommodate international flight check-ins can be prohibitive - staying overnight in Tessara prior to flying out is very helpful and takes the stress out of it.

    Great location in proximity of airport for those arriving...

    Great location in proximity of airport for those arriving late or leaving early and want to avoid having to travel into central Venice (even more so if not staying in Venice) We arrived very late at night and needed a cheap but comfortable place to stay overnight. Nice rooms, comfortable size, although the pillows and mattress were not the best.

    If you are looking for a Hotel and Restaurant near the airport, I don't believe you can go wrong staying here. My next trip I plan on eating at the Restaurant. It was only a overnight stay but the staff was very helpful.

    We spent two weeks in a lovely apartment in Venice, so Tessera is a different experience. There are several simple cafe's up the road, we had dinner in a bakery-cafe and it was one of the best meals we had in the Venice area, and the least expensive.

    Walking distance to/from Venice airport. Big room, clean, pleasant. Convenient setup for morning breakfast - self-serve and flexible. communication with host is effective, responsive and thorough.

    Very close to the airport, we arrived late and didn’t want to make our way into Venice so opted to stay here. We walked from the airport to the hotel to save some money and it was a easy 20min walk down a well lit road. The bus into Venice the next morning was €1.50. John at reception when we checked in was so friendly and welcoming, he explained a lot to us about Venice and it was extremely helpful. The hotel was a bit basic for the price of the stay & breakfast was pretty basic with not a lot of options.

    The property is superb, outside the centre of Venice, but just a bus ride away. Located in a very quiet street, it is tranquil and peaceful. Tessera has 2 good restaurants, so after a long day in Venice, it is lovely to be able to have a relaxed evening nearby. The Hosts were so friendly and helpful, the property was well equipped and comfortable. We loved it.
