Tirano is a really nice little town, busy with plenty of visitors, but also with plenty of locals out and about enjoying the restaurants and cafes. Unfortunately we only stayed one night but we had time to explore the old town and wished we had a bit more time to visit more of the restaurants. The location in the old town is perfect only a short walk from the train station and next to palazzo Salis. The building has been in the hosts family for generations each room is a delightful piece of history but with modern facilities. Breakfast was delicious the welcome so warm and I was given great advice on how best to enjoy Tirano.
