I loved the views and the variety of spots to relax from high up in town to down close to the sea. Uber is working very bed there.
Uber is working very bed there. You'd better ask your hotel for a transfer from the airport and back. We paid around 70-80 euros for this service. Tropea is a very touristic place, and prices to rent an umbrella with 2 beds on the beach are just crazy (25-60 euros per day in high season!) You'd better take your own beach umbrellas here :) Many "tourist trap" restaurants, but you can find good places to eat if you choose 4.5 and higher ratings on Google Maps. Tropea is a summer paradise: small historic centre with beautiful sea view. Lot´s of excellent restaurants and little shops. Everything is in walking distance, but there is a lot´s of stairs to the beach. Also old streets are covered cobblestones. The location is perfect if you are coming by train. The rooms are clean with nice balcony to relax. The old town is 10 - 15 minutes away by foot. The breakfast was divine, the best we had so far in Italy. Everything is homemade and Antonio will make sure you don't lack anything and that everything is to your taste.
