We were Pilgrims walking the Via Francigena, and the Viverone Lake Rooms are uphill, off the track. However, our Hostess, Mercedes, was amazingly kind and picked us up in town and brought us to the hotel! The room was beautiful and quiet, with an incredible view over the lake, with the terrace/patio directly above our room with a spectacular sunset, with a glass of wine. This was a great luxurious break from our pilgrim walk. We had one of the best dinners of our trip here at the very elegant restaurant.

Grazia was so lovely and welcoming! Although she only speaks Italian and we unfortunately only knew some basic Italian words, she gave her best to communicate with us with hands and feed and tried to make everything possible and our stay at her place as comfortable as possible. They lent us mosquito spray and an umbrella, when we were unfortunately not prepared at all, haha, and their bikes for a tour around the lake! Can really recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet place to stay. Grazie mille again!

    Great location, lovely sized swimming pool, ( although rather cold in May ). Rooms at the front of the hotel have amazing views of the lake, at the back nice views of the garden. Lovely garden down to lake and terrace to enjoy a drink. The waiter recommended for us to go wakeboarding, thanks to him we had a really great day on the lake after we checked out!!

    Beautiful property in an amazing location, good communication with the owner, easy access, parking, clean and well maintained with TV and sofa bed too, and nice locals who are happy to talk and help you. Viverone itself is beautiful with a lovely bar looking out on to the lake.
