Spent about 10 days here and it came to an end very quickly. This villa is exactly as pictured, with good taste in furniture and decor, with comfortable rooms. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious, and I had Jamaican and American style breakfast (on different days). The neighbourhood is pretty quiet, and is a short walk from ATMs, grocery store, gas station, and food shop. Would recommend anyone visiting the Portland area, to stay here!

Starlight chalet was in the most beautiful situation with mountains coffee plantations and the most beautiful setting. The hotel was well laid out with the most amazing views One of the main features of this hotel were the totally wonderful staff Harvey and Donovan

Mr Brown was an extremely helpful and gracious host. He was kind and considerate. I got lost on the way there, and Mr Brown stayed on the phone with me to give me directions and guide me in. He also helped me with accessing local services. He is the best 'brother', 'uncle' or 'friend' you could ever meet on your first day anywhere. The guest house is a fabulous, beautiful place to stay with amazing views of the hills and the sea.
