The location is unique and like nothing ever experienced. The hosts Mohammed and Faoras were extremely helpful, kind and caring for us as a family. They came collecting us by the end of the trail so our little ones (and adults) didn't have to walk the remaining 5 km through the Feynan valley - completely unexpected but so appreciated by us all. The food is the best we have had so far in Jordan - Grown in the area and full of taste and love. All in all an amazing experience for us that we will never forget. We hope to get the possibility of returning.

A small family run business where you feel right at home. They have a residence here so they know the area and can give knowledge advice on what trails you might want to hike. This is no square box hotle which you find everywhere, this place has a real blend with its surroundings, a beautiful garden and a design which, for me, coungers up alpine lodges but to the window design gives you the feeling of looking out of a bedouin tent at dawn. The rooms are quiet with modern bathrooms and super comfotable beds. Breakfast and dinner is made from local products, home made Cherry jam to Makobla and deserts which were served for dinner.

The room we stayed in was very nice, built into the stone to protect from the wind and the cold. Dinner was great as well! We had a great stay and appreciated the hospitality of the staff. We will definitely be back to do some more hiking!

I had an amazing stay at Dana Moon Hostel! The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. The hotel is located little outside Dana village at the rim to Feynan valley with a phantastic view towards the valley. The Feynan trail starts right from your door. The hotel is run by a very friendly and helpful family. They can arrange hiking trails for you and you can get dinner together with the family. I enjoyed the stay very much and stayed one day longer than planned.

Food was great, guests from other hotels even dined at Dana gate lodge. Really good base to do some hiking. Staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The hotels little shop had good hiking snacks we purchased the morning we started our hike.
