Petra is always a magical place in your imagination.
Petra is always a magical place in your imagination. However it does not compare to the real thing! No matter how vivid your imagination! You need at least two whole days if not three to really enjoy the sights of Petra. We stayed a short distance away from the visitor center closer to the town centre where there are lovely restaurants and a more local vibe. Wadi Musa is a small village up 1km of Petra
Wadi Musa is a small village up 1km of Petra Many inhibitants consider foreigners just as walking wallet but it is possible to find honest shops and good restaurants at normal prices of you get right informations and visit places for locals. Nothing special, just a place to stay when visiting Petra where there is no local life at all only places for tourists. 2 days are enough is visit the wunderful site at walking distance from Wadi Musa. If you do not want to walk back up after visiting, it is better not to stay in Wadi Musa but in the more expensive, more convenient but also more artificial Petra outside the historical site.Guest review byPhilippeBelgium - 10.0

We had a triple room and there was loads of space. The beds were a little smaller than other hotels but still comfortable. The location is also very good as its walkable to petra and walkable to loads of food spots. The best part was the host, we had issues with our desert camp and the hotel concierge happily spoke with them in Arabic to get it all sorted for us.
