The best option in Kii Tanabe! Clean and modern, close to restaurants and the center of town. I was there for the start of the Kumano Kodo, and it was the best choice! Adorable Shibu named Pii-Chan lives there too :)

Amazing hotel with incredible views. Service was excellent. Room was incredibly clean and comfortable. The private outdoor bath was so relaxing. The public baths also offer an incredible view. The hotel itself is located in a fairly isolated area from the town, but they have a very convenient shuttle service that you can reserve to pretty much get to all of the big attractions in the area. They also come to pick you up from the train station and drop you off on your check out date. Amazing hotel and highly recommend.
