This place is a real gem if you are looking for a beautiful cottage to enjoy a lovely view of the water and stars. The staff was very kind, the little restaurant on the property was good and the general vibe of the cottage was laid back. It was an excellent place to just unwind. If you are driving there is a lot of cool places to enjoy from here (away from the "city").

It's kinda a cute place with kind and welcoming hosts. A baby goat that was walking around made it even more fairy tale-ish. The swimming pool was large enough and wasn't busy, so we often had it only to ourselves. Within walking distance, you can find glass-boat tours to see coral life: turtles and Nemo fish (clown fish) =) Easy parking right next to the entrance. In a 15-minute drive, you can find a park with monkeys (not free), and there are beaches around, like anywhere on the island. A small fridge, a conditioner, a shower, but we could use a common steam sauna (for free)—an interesting experience, so much steam that you almost can't see anything =) It feels very natural. We found some rhino beetles, lizards, frogs, and lots of beautiful butterflies. There is a place for BBQ, and you can order that for an extra cost. There are also bikes for rent, etc. It's a nice place.

Shige is a pergect host, the place is really lucky to have him. Very helpfull, sincere, gave us a lot of tips, recomendations about the area and helped us a lot as we booked the place before finding out that we will not be able to rent a car in the island. We would recomend to have a car if staying in this part of the island. But even without the car and with the help of Shige our stay was perfect. The empty amazing beaches around and sirene rural atmosphere was the highlights what made me not willing to go anywhere else.

The best part of my stay here was the evenings at the noodle shop Satoshi runs. Drinking beer and awamori with locals and other guests every night was one of the highlights of my stay on the island. The rooms were basic, but that's all you need. At this place, you won't be spending your evening in the room. The staff were able to give good recommendations for local sights, secluded beaches, and souvenir shops, which I made good use of, and were able to help out when I had troubles with the rental car. Would give the guys an 11 if I could...
