Shiori-san is not just a guesthouse owner; she is a very special soul in this universe, an angel who sincerely cares for her guests. I feel very lucky to have met her. I would come here again just to see her. The guesthouse is very comfortable, and you can choose to stay in either an old-style Japanese house or a modern house. Shiori-san will always make sure you're happy and plans amazing activities with the other guests staying at the guesthouse. This way, you experience Japanese culture in a unique way. Remote location, great to watch the sky, listen to the insects, very clean and very modern, probably best in our 3 weeks visit to Japan. Loved it there. The hosts were extremely polite and friendly! Would come back without a doubt

Understated design elegance of the rooms; helpful staff and an amazing dinner/breakfast - we did splurge on the room and the dinner options and had the room with the hot tub/bath on the deck - it was lovely! Loved listening to the pounding surf.

I highly recommend this apartment! It’s new, fully equipped, spacious, and beautifully designed with a stylish interior. It has everything you might need for a comfortable stay. We were warmly welcomed with sake and crackers, and mineral water is replenished daily. Trash is taken out every day and fresh towels are provided regularly. The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood, right next to a bakery with delicious bread rolls. It’s also very close to the shopping district, the Tenjin food stalls, and public transportation. A perfect place to stay in Fukuoka!
