Had a wonderful stay! The owners were lovely and welcomed us warmly. We immediately felt comfortable from the moment we stepped into the hotel. The japanese style rooms were clean, comfortable and beautiful! Breakfast can be booked on arrival and was very good!

Staying for 3 nights with an island view room high up was a real pleasure. The rotenburo, tha banquet buffet breakfasts&dinners, the spacious room, the attentive staff, the shuttle bus service, all excellent!

Amazing location - we walked short distances to everything. The property is huge and they have thought of everything - even gym and and warming blankets!

From checking in to checking out the process was excellent. All relevant information was provided verbal and written on a hotel brochure in English and Japanese. Buffet breakfast and dinner were included in the price and buffets were very good. Location from Takenouchi station was about 800 metres from the hotel. The onsen was very good. There was welcoming drinks 🍸 from 1400hrs to 2300hrs. In the morning there was soft drinks and coffee. The area was very quiet and peaceful. The hotel did provide a shuttle service to the Matsushima station at certain times.
