It left me speechless, fortunately it is still an unspoiled island that unlike Japan they should keep it a little cleaner because it deserves. You can turn it all around in the car and you can see places where there is no one. It was a really nice discovery, we would have been there for another 2/3 more days. It is connected with bridges to 3 smaller islands all to be discovered. I recommend activities such as snorkeling, dive and sup to see the splendid seabed with colorful fish, opulps, manta rays and sharks.Guest review byElenaItaly - 10

The center city is not very lively or pretty. The island is rather rural with lots of banana, tobacco, and sugar cane plots. However, the suburb areas near the beaches are beautiful. I would recommend a resort as the available activities are limited to outdoors and dining. A car is required to get around. Wonderful and beautiful place, the color of the sea amazing, many interesting sites to visit BUT you NEED a car (to rent a car). The public transportation is almost non existent (there is a bus to the airport). The island is too big for the bicycle, and too hilly.Guest review byBeataPoland

The place is very clean and has all the amenities you need for a short/long stay. The snorkelling tour and the tour around the island were very good - Atsushi took us to some very cool spots which I may not have found on Google maps.
