Such a beautiful and tranquil property, the rooms were clean and spacious, had everything we needed. Our private onsen was so peaceful. And there were few hiking trails nearby to waterfalls. Dinner and breakfast was delicious. Staff member, Andy was welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. She gave us a tea lesson with Hojicha and at breakfast she explained all the different varieties they served. Wish we could've stayed longer! We'll definitely be back

Our room was absolutely comfortable and we looked forward to coming “home” everyday to unwind after exploring. The property is unmanned and not close to anything. Plan to bring your own food. While it is quite a ways from things, transportation was easy via train and bus.

    Great location in the middle of Hakone sights, close to bus...

    Great location in the middle of Hakone sights, close to bus stop and train stop which is very convenient. Gorgeous property with old style designs but modern amenities. The outdoor private onsen was wonderful, but need to access outdoor to use the shower and bath which was a little inconvenient if using late at night and if it’s cold. Wonderful stay, beds were very comfortable.
