The land bridge spans across the sea is fun to view from the observation points (on both sides) and you can actually bike (20 minutes) or walk (50 minutes) one way across. It is very chill, quiet (only woken by the sound of birds by the river) and spacious (we had the room with 5 beds and living area). There is a fully equipped kitchen you can use, bathroom for guests, 5 minutes stroll to restaurants, and 20 mins to Amanohashidate resort by boat, bus or train. However, the value for money of this place was excellent. They allowed us an early check-in free of charge due to the terrible weather outside, and provided everything we needed to make our stay in Amanohashidate a great one. We loved the place! Beautifully designed with lovely view and pool on the balcony. Fully equipped with washing machine and kitchen, but very limited food in local shop for self catering.
