The property was beautiful, cozy and peaceful. The bath and sauna was exceptional, as was the host Kazuo-san (and the rest of the staff)! We also really liked the bar attached to the hotel - Openbook Yama. It is a branch of a bar in Golden Gai - really cool addition to the property!

Loved our stay here! Rooms were spacious and super comfortable, and the ‘shared’ shower is actually a private shower room which you can select a time slot for so as not to not overlap with other guests. The shared lounge and kitchen space were also great, and the property just felt very relaxed. It was also super close to the bus station and there are plenty of restaurants, shops and bars nearby. We will definitely be back!

Location: Could not have asked for a better location to ski slopes and a very easy access to the main village. Lots of dining options around. Comfort: Wonderful property, we stayed at the family room with the Mountain View and it was comfortable and roomy for all of us (4 people). Great views, great AC, TV, small kitchen, separate living and bedroom areas. Laundry for a nominal fee and dry room to store ski gear after the day on the slopes.

When we arrived to the hotel we were told we couldn’t stay there due to someone being sick. The staff at this hotel were very sweet and helpful and found us another accommodation for the night at a discount. We very much appreciated this and hopefully we can come back and stay here another time since the staff left a memorable impression.
