My partner and I have been staying at Blisstia Hakone regularly, and it has become one of our favorite getaways. Every visit feels like a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We love that the rooms are spacious and designed more like apartments, offering all the comforts of home with the luxury of a hotel. Loved the location. The service was impeccable. And the food was sublime and delicious. The hotel was a mix of old and new. Fabulous art and furniture. The staff couldn't do enough and suggested that as the firework festival was taking place that evening..we could have dinner earlier and taxi service would be arranged. We especially loved our private onsen overlooking the bay. Can't wait to return. Only an hour from Tokyo!!

Fufu Hakone provides a five-star Japanese Onsen hotel experience. I loved almost every aspect of the hotel except the location, lol. But the free shuttle service is quite helpful as well. We used the shuttle to travel between the hotel and Gora station before check-in and from the hotel to Sōunzan station when we checked out. The service of the hotel was professional, polite, respectful, and personally oriented. It was a very impressive stay. The Japanese Kaiseki Ryori was delicious and artfully presented. We only spent one night at the hotel because we were informed that the rooms were fully booked the next day, we would definitely come back for our holidays to Japan.

Had the most incredible stay at Hakone Honbako. I have been to Hakone several times and this is the only hotel I have found very quiet and relaxing, and this resort exceeded my expectation especially in terms of food. The food was impeccable. They are explain Edo culture on the dishes, also provide explanations in Japanese and English. In the restaurant, everyone gathers around the counter and there is a unique sense of togetherness. There was a new discovery: experiencing Edo culture, which even the Japanese do not know. One night is not enough, I will want to stay at this hotel for two or more nights to enjoy a good book and a meal. Hope to be back again one day!

Exceptional stay in Hakone This place is truly exceptional. The house is perfectly located on a hillside surrounded by nature — peaceful and incredibly relaxing. My room had a beautiful view of the forest; I felt completely immersed in it. I could hear the birds singing every morning — it was magical. I also had my meals on site, and the food was absolutely delicious. The dining area opens up to the outdoors, offering breathtaking views while you eat. The on-site baths are fantastic — everything is thoughtfully designed, and the outdoor area is a dream. It feels like you're bathing right in the forest. The staff were beyond amazing — we were treated like royalty. I’ll definitely come back. A huge thank you to the whole team! Highly recommended, 200%. Don’t hesitate — go for it!

It was the highlight of our trip to Japan! We had an amazing time. The staff were wonderful, they made sure we had an amazing experience. I can’t fault anything. We will definitely be back. We also loved that we can hear the waterfalls from our room and it felt so peaceful!
