This is my second stay at this resort. The first time I was there with my ex, which kinda ruined that trip. This time I was with the person that cared about me and I cared about her. So the second time was the charm for me. Let me share our pros and cons about this place: PROs: - Really nice service. The staff goes an extra mile to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. - They have an amazing selection of drinks at their two bars. Also their food (aside from breakfast - see the cons) was very nice. They had a nice selection in their menu so you won't run out of options during your stay. - They have an ice-cream shop that serves amazing ice-cream and sherbets on the premises. That was a great addition to our stay during a 30C weather. - They have a very clean pool with nice lounges nearby. All in nicely shaded area, where you can order a cocktail or a snack right by the pool. - The ocean was amazingly clean. It didn't have a lot of sea weed, or garbage. And the sand was soft and pleasant for a walk or a morning/evening run/stroll. On top of that there weren't many beach boys to annoy you. There were some, but not that many. - They have an iPhone/Android app that has all the options needed for guests: from checking your balance, to giving you times when the food is served, to showing you the list of amenities, to giving you an ocean tide map. Very professional. I have never seen any other resort that had their own app. - We had a couple of massages at their spa. It was very relaxing and we liked it a lot. - They have a very nice gym on the premises. So you can work out if you want to stay in shape. They also have a yoga studio, if that's your thing. - They offer all kinds of extras: from scuba diving lessons to fishing, etc.

We originally booked this hotel just for a couple of days, planning to look for a seaside house in person. But from the moment we arrived, we were already impressed – everything looked just as beautiful as in the photos. The place is brand new, modern, and fully equipped with all the necessary appliances. The staff is very kind and welcoming. After checking other hotels by the sea, we realized they were quite old and worn out, so we decided to extend our stay here instead. A really wonderful place, highly recommended!

We absolutely loved our stay at Mzima. Hotel is located in a beautiful surroundings, right by the beach, rooms are spacious and nice, staff service is next level, you feel completely pampered every minute. The ladies at Mulberry Spa are magical. I would also highly recommend the Chef services, food is amazing and you get to eat in serene setting right by the beach!

Devine location, the stretch of beach at the location is picturesque! Very attentive staff you feel pampered the minute you walk in the facility. All rooms are spacious. All are beautifully and individually decorated meals are à la cart so it’s your slice of paradise at your pace. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Simon at breakfast made this feel special. He was very attentive and respectful. Zipporah and her team make sure you have the most wonderful time. We had dinner one night at the Ali Barbour cave restaurant which we were pleasantly surprised provided pick up to and from the hotel as a complimentary service With reservation ahead of time required.

    Powdery white sand that is very easy to walk on.

    Powdery white sand that is very easy to walk on. The reef about 500-600m offshore breaks the outer waves so inside the reef is moderately calm. Water shoes recommended due to sea urchins in some areas. A nice beach for walking, but you will be approached by vendors. A polite 'no' is usually sufficient. Several excellent places to eat along the stretch of beach where we stayed - Nomad's, Faulty's at the Flamboyant, Ali Barbour's Cave (reservation required), and Asha Boutique (Friday night beach buffet).

    Diani beach is a great place to chill, relax, swim in warm ocean waters. Diani beach has a vibrant and eclectic nightlife , for those who want it. Getting around by tuk-tuk taxi is cheap and easy, the people are fab, But . . . don't go in May, or early June, it is very very rainy! December to March are best, Jan & Feb dryest by far. Enjoy.

    Diani is a must see while visiting Kenya.

    Diani is a must see while visiting Kenya. Just make sure you pick your dates well. We visited Diani in April which was the start of the raining season but it was hot. The dry season runs from August to December and I can only imagine how hot it can get. Many resorts don't have A/C but portable fans in rooms. It helps but the rooms are still hot. Bring insect repellent sprays as insects and mosquitoes are around. Plenty of activities to do. Wasani day trip is a must do, camel/horse rides along the beach, sunset in Congo river, glassboat rides, jet ski, kite surfing etc. Be ready to negotiate anything you buy as the locals have the tendency to overcharge foreigners. Also there is a small splash place for kids. It is not as big and elaborate as the big theme parks but it helps keep the kids busy and distracted.

    Diani beach is fabulous.

    Diani beach is fabulous. Try to go early morning and early evening to get the best experience without sunburn. The glass-bottom boat trip to Robinson Island is wonderful and you can snorkel just meters off the sand island. Don’t worry if you didn’t bring a snorkel, they usually have some on the boats (ask before you set out and they will borrow from each other).

    Diani beach and Galu beach just south of Diani are beautiful white sandy beaches offering all sorts of water sports including diving. Great restaurants along the beach. A wide range of hotels to chose from. I love Diving the Crab dive center at Nomads, which also has a lovely beach-front restaurant. The Salty Squid is great place for either lunch or dinner. Great snorkelling and kitesurfing.

    Charming houses in a beautiful African style, in a quiet secluded place, where only noise is sounds of birds (e.g. yellow-footed wattlebird). With a wonderful garden and comfortable swimming pool, very close to the picturesque Diani beach. Very helpful and friendly owner, taking care of the comfort of guests and providing assistance with every check. Well-knowing the local market and attractions - all recommended were 100% accurate (e.g. safari, transport, beach restaurants, shops). Very nice and efficient service team.

    Everything about this place was world class. The owner communicated brilliantly and was super helpful. The apartment is spotlessly clean, the WiFi works, the location is amazing, right next to a beautiful beach. It's totally quiet but only a 5 minute drive to the main town of Diani beach and if you don't drive there are always Tuk tuks on hand. Everything you need is here, I will definitely be back The huge pool was spotless and warm. The lady who cleans the apartment is lovely and friendly

    The location, the rooms right by the sea and the garden. Good breakfast. Clean. Perfect view. I particularly appreciated that 2 bottles of drinking water were provided every day. Overall, a real paradise. The beach is not the iconic white sand Diani beach, for which you need to go a bit south. However it's ok, it's just perfect
