The Ole-Ken is a wonderful slice of heaven situated a walk away from the beehive city. The guards were strict with security. I commend them for this. Kevin at the reception was polite and is a good communicator. The parking lot was secure and the protocol was sensible. We loved the room, but most of all, we cannot fail to bless the chef for the food we received. The chef's special was so good we had it twice! Definitely my hotel destination whenever I am around Nakuru.

We liked it all. The location was great, in the center in a very clean area next to a beautiful park. Perfect to walk around for us. The staff were super nice and helpful with everything we needed. The room was very big, with wonderful view and perfectly equipped. The swimming pool was big, clean and surrounded by a nice area to sit and relax. The restaurant is also very good. And it has a cafe and a nice central area to sit.

    The food was great, the hot showers amazing.

    The food was great, the hot showers amazing. The views from our room was perfect .... could see the park well. The staff were all pleasant, and helpful. The lodge organised a tour guide for us.... Patrick was amazing and very patient on the game drive.... we were happy with the drive. Agnes was always very reassuring and always ready to help. The front office staff always very welcoming. We got to the lodge very late on the day of arrival, and Waithera at the front desk, kept engaging with us until we got there. She was very encouraging. The kitchen staff had kept dinner for us even that late. Thank you so much. Definately I place I would love to return to.

    Kabarak University Nakuru town campus is one of the areas I...

    Kabarak University Nakuru town campus is one of the areas I visited and was utterly impressed by how clean, well-constructed, strategically situated, warm-welcoming and beautiful place it is. Their buses are relatively new and comfortable. The eateries surrounding this campus offer great fish and fresh juices. Westside Mall was a blast and Bolt taxi services are very helpful especially in the night. I will avoid a short vacation next time; everyone needs at least 6 days to really experience the good side of Nakuru alias Naks-Vegas..

    Nakuru is a great place to visit: Lake Nakuru National Game Park and Lake Elementita and the sanctuaries are awesome places to visit. The only challenge is the delay with the digital payments at the gates which has to be online and you have to create an account yet there is no public internet or official phones provided to the employees at the gates,expect massive delays!

    Nice town with very friendly people.

    Nice town with very friendly people. The 2 malls certainly have a wide variety of offerings. Could do with a cinema though and more creativity with the street foods . Food joints are abundant. the lake drive was educational..didnt see any lion..next time maybe. Hyrax Hill museum is a hidden gem. they have a load of information for history buffs. Overall a good visit

    I liked the city, I should have stayed for more nights.

    I liked the city, I should have stayed for more nights. My favorite place was the nearby Lake Nakuru national park and Hyrax hill. My apartment had cooking facilities so my wife prepared meals in doors. Bolt cars (a local online taxi service) gets guests anywhere around the city at a relatively cheap price. On my next visit.

    Thz drive around the lake is amazing.

    Thz drive around the lake is amazing. You see Rhinos, flami gos pelicans, girafes. If you are lucky you might see the lions. A few places where you can have a picnic and enjoy the view. Just be prepared, can be very dusty and bimpy!
