We stayed for eight nights and loved everything. The staff were super friendly, helpful and attentive. The bungalows are clean and simple but have everything you need. The location is absolutely stunning and the food is top notch. The restaurant is currently getting renovated so they organise food deliveries from Lily’s Riverhouse for you. But once their restaurant is set up, it will be next level out there! We visited during the rainy season and so were not able to take advantage of the boat trip offered, but it sounds awesome from what the owner described to us. The staff also showed us an amazing snorkelling spot about 15 minutes away. You are also able to see plankton in the right conditions! Make sure you read the very thorough information provided to you so that you know what to expect before you arrive! The road is wet during the rainy season, I would recommend taking a tuk tuk most of the way then walking 15 mins unless you are confident on a scooter. This place is the perfect getaway from crowds and technology!

I enjoyed the position - the hotel is just in front of the beach - the staff (Mr Alex is so thoughtful and so is Nicholas) and the breakfast, too (with a lot of fruit available).

A fantastic place. Would highly recommend. The staff can't do enough for you. All really friendly. Food is tasty and good value. Beach is really clean. Crystal clear water. Arranged a taxi so we bpilf go and watch the sunset. Had a bbq on the beach. We will definitely return!

    We visited in the off season/rainy season. it was quiet and some facilities were being refurbed or rebuilt. Apart from the 1-hour per day rain it was great. the beaches are beautiful and there's lots to do. The people are so friendly and helpful.

    I hesitate to recommend this island paradise for fear that it will no longer be a paradise and will lose its unique charm, which is also due to the lack of tourists! The white sandy beaches as fine as flour, the crystal clear waters between emerald and turquoise, the lush vegetation, the smiles of the locals and the laughter of the children... everything is wonderful... The only downside is the lack of waste management, but unfortunately this is the case throughout Cambodia...

    Koh Touch village is too much of a party scene if you're...

    Koh Touch village is too much of a party scene if you're looking for a nature get away. If you stay there, make sure to rent a motorbike to get to further beaches, unless you are prepared to spend a lot of money on taxis. In my opinion, it is not great without a motor bike.

    Koh Rong is definitely a place to visit when in Cambodia,...

    Koh Rong is definitely a place to visit when in Cambodia, and it has a great vibe for travellers of all ages. There are lots of bars, restaurants and cafes, and it's not too expensive. Long Set Beach and Koah Touch Beach are the main areas, and the best locations to stay. We visited Sok San, but found it to be a little run down, and not much there. My only problem with the place was how dirty it was. The streets were covered in litter, and the beaches weren't cleaned...so they were always covered in plastic items washed up by the sea. This is definitely something the island needs to address.

    Out of this world… although I have not experienced staying at the other beaches on the island, I would say having spoken to others who have stayed elsewhere on Koh Rong that the whole island is super!!

    All of it, the staff were amazing they helped with anything that we went to them for including trips, helping book our boat journey back to Sihanoukville and they were always friendly and happy to help. The food was great, the location was also far enough away from the hostels to be quiet whilst still close enough to easily get to shops or the pier. The rooms were efficiently cleaned everyday and the whole hotel was meticulously clean. Definitely recommend staying here if you are in Koh Rong

    Excellent public areas. Pools were clean and well maintained. They made a big effort keeping the hotel’s beach area in good condition. Daily beach sweeping and cleaning. The beach and sea conditions are probably the best I’ve experienced in south east Asia. Rooms are simple but functional. The beds are big and comfortable. No tv’s in the rooms - great! Staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was ok, but not as good as the neighbouring White Sand Ark which was excellent.

    The staff were so attentive and offered phenomenal service throughout our stay. We really appreciated their care and attention. Room was clean, spacious and well air-conditioned. The beach is stunning - one of the best on the Island. Same for food - delicious and varied menu. Having tried other restaurants nearby, we quickly learned the Hotel was the best of the lot. The breakfast choice was superb too. Loved White Sand Ark Resort!

    The room was basic but very clean, and the simplicity of the accommodation was fully compensated by the breathtaking beauty of the surroundings. We stayed in a sea-facing room, and the view in the morning was absolutely stunning. The beach is like paradise, arguably the most beautiful on the island. The hotel owner is extremely kind and a fantastic cook. I highly recommend dining at the resort’s restaurant.

    Tasty food, friendly and helpful staff — they even delivered my forgotten swimsuit after checkout. Despite renovation works during the rainy season, we received access to nearby hotels and a restaurant discount, which was a nice gesture. Good value for money.
