What Guests Said About Busan:

Busan is the best part of Korea.

Busan is the best part of Korea. Hikeable hills and mountains, ocean, beaches, and many different parts of town connected via transit. Also, cleaner air than the industrial west of Korea. Take the time to explore the older parts of town, the lesser known coast-towns, temples, and museums. Plus, ferries to other places including Fukuoka.

The beaches were awesome and well maintained.

The beaches were awesome and well maintained. Everything seemed slightly more dirty than Seoul but I think it's just fighting the environment of the ocean being right there. Lots of beach options, none of them were overcrowded when we went but we were there Tuesday-Thursday. They have the worlds largest mall, BIFF, and only 30ish minutes from Gamcheon, by taxi. It's over an hour by bus assuming you don't miss your stop or get on the wrong bus like we did lol. It's hotter and more humid than Seoul but something to expect going to beaches. Plenty to eat, more seafood based if that's your jam, lots of shopping and beautiful views. My daughter really wanted to see the Gwangalli Bridge show but it only happens on weekends. It does light up from about 8-12 nightly though. We opted for Taxi traveling after giving up on trying to figure out buses. They go fast and weave through traffic, its a crazy ride and much more crazy than Seoul taxi drivers so hold on tight!

Busan was very nice.

Busan was very nice. The size of the city, together with the fact that the metro network is not as capillary as other big cities, make it harder to plan many things in one day. We had to rely a lot on taxis, with a lot of travel time.

I liked that our hotel was so close to a lot of things.

I liked that our hotel was so close to a lot of things. There is a walking alley full of food choices. Around the corner is a shopping center. Right outside our door is the street walking center divide. The beach was 1 block away and there were many things on the beaches to do. We took a taxi to the famous seaside temple and rode on the Blue line train. It was unfortunate for us that it rained heavily for 2 days so we couldn't go do much.

It was a quiet place but very near to BUSAN X the Sky and walking distance to sky capsule and beach train station. The room was big and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The haeundae beach is just around the corner and I guess there was also a fishing village nearby. We paid around 23,000 KRW for a 40-50 minutes taxi ride from Busan station as we have a lot of luggage (if you take a bus, its a lot cheaper but please ensure the weight is not more than 20kg)

The hotel is basic, but okay. The location close to Haeundae Beach and the market is probably the best reason to stay here. I've read a lot about the elevators (you have to switch elevators on the fourth floor to get to the hotel lobby on the sixth floor), but it didn't bother us. It usually went pretty smoothly, and you got to know other people in the elevator. The room was very spacious. For Busan, the price is pretty okay.

Fantastic location. 10 mins walk to Haeundae Beach. Took bus from Busan Station and alight directly in front of the hotel. Surrounded by many cafes. There are 2 halal RESTAURANTS around the area. Room is equipped with all the essentials. Easy access to the subway too.

One of the best hotels at Haeundae Beach for this price. Went there the second time already because I love the big rooms and the view. Also, the staff is super friendly. The location is fantastic.

Located near Haeundae Beach, it was perfect for a calmer place to stay in Busan. The room is very spacious and the staff helpful. Only thing, the wifi doesn't work in the room.
