Don't even think twice: book this amazing place! I have been traveling the world since 2016 and this is one of my favorite stays! The bed is so comfortable, omg. The apartment has everything you need. It is quiet and peaceful, sparkling clean, has all the amenities, it's near the main street... But what stood out the most for me was the kindness of the owners. I can't speak Korean well and rely heavily on translation apps and still they were so nice and understanding. Great place! Great people!

Danyang is a fantastic place - the city of flowers on the shores of a narrow lake. Very walkable, with walking paths across the street that go down to the shore and paths along the street. Sono has a number of hotels in Korea. This is one of the oldest. Our family suite had a kitchenette, with a good size refrigerator and a small 2-burner stovetop. There was a table with 4 chairs in the kitchen and a good size living room with a large couch. The main bedroom had a half bathroom and there was a full bathroom when you entered the suite as well. The second bedroom was ondol style. From the living room and balcony we had great views of the city and the lake. Like the other Sono properties we have stayed at, the rooms are in need of a refresh and renovations. That said, there is a lot to like about this property and the fantastic location: Lots of parking, free A small water park Restaurants in the basement level as well as shops, games, singing rooms for karaoke A fantastic bakery with top quality goods, that offered a big discount after 7pm

Extremely helpful and friendly owner. She helped us pick lettuce and other veggies for dinner. The surroundings are very quiet and green. Loved the wireless TV stand as well. The creek is right in the backyard of the house, which had cute golf practice nets and clean creek to take a dip on a hot summer day.

My room at the Jungle Guesthouse/Factory G Ssang was immaculately clean. Monica and the other guests (who frequently met around the communal kitchen table) made it a friendly place. And Monica always took the time to help answer guests’ questions by text or in person. The family room is spacious (including the bathroom), and in my opinion more than makes up for the bit of noise that comes with being just off of the communal kitchen. Great hot shower with excellent water pressure. Good location near the bus station and restaurants. I would definitely stay again!

    We stayed for 7 nights and could have stayed longer. There are a lot of things to see and do and lots of hiking/walking. Gosu Cave, the Danyang Gang Jando boardwalk to the Mancheonda Skywalk, the forest-bathing paths behind the town (we wore shoes), the Dodamsborg Peaks and Stone Arch, and many more that you can take a bus to or self-drive.
