Hotel River Front was a little piece of paradise for the 2 nights we stayed here (with my husband and 5 year old). The entire property is immaculately clean - from the gardens to the rooms and bathrooms - it was spotless. Room and bathroom was large, good hot water in shower, good air-conditioning, lovely balcony overlooking garden wirh river at the bottom. Pool was fabulous and great to relax around after a safari. We ate dinner at the hotel on both nights. Food was really delicious and good choice. Breakfast was included in the package and was very good (fresh pancakes, fruit, toast, eggs, sausage, etc...). On the morning of our safari they packaged a breakfast up for us which was appreciated. Hotel organised a private safari for us. Channa was our guide and was brilliant. So knowledgeable and went out of his way to ensure we had a great day. We saw loads of animals including leopards and the scenery was stunning. A special thanks to all the staff who made our stay so special- they all do a fabulous job and made us so very welcome. If we are back in the area we would definitely stay here again.

One of the hidden gems of Sri Lanka! This beautiful hotel is set around a serene lake, with stunning views from the room overlooking water lilies, palm trees, and grazing buffalo. The rooms are stylishly decorated, spacious, and impeccably clean. The breakfast is fantastic, with something for everyone. Madu, the manager, is incredibly approachable and goes above and beyond to make everything possible. A truly amazing stay!

wonderful place nice climate and we love the nature in hotel and It has beautiful lake view and full of nature. The staff is so friendly and gave us a wonderful service. hotel has a very enthusiastic and boutique atmosphere with the Restaurant area, Thanks and we ll see u soon in our next trip to Yala also forgot to mentioned that we really enjoyed the SAFARY arranged by Hotel.

what a wounderfull heaven, we loves every minute we spent at this boutique hotel. The Manager Saliya made sure our stay is amazing. All the hotel staff are amazing, Shehan made sure every thing we desired shall be done. The rooms are so clean and tidy and done by Yasad and Tharaka . The pool was amazing and always clean , taken care by Manoj. The hotel staff also made sure we have daily fun activity inside and outside the property, we did shooting and they arranged BBQ night with Bon fire and fire works for our anniversary. simply this hotel was our best experience in Sri Lanka.

A new and very clean room, a lot of space and a good view of the garden, good breakfast, he offered us a lot of fresh juice for free and also snacks in the evening for free as well and Randy held a tour of his village for us for free, believe me it was better than the yalla safari tour, he explained all the things about his culture and he had a lot of information about birds and animals, the lake Infront of the house had a great wildlife and view, we had dreamy dinner at his garden

It was a great visit! The hotel is situated in a nice area with a possibility to relax and enjoy the surroundings. One of the staff members took us on a walk to look for crocodiles, birds and unusual plants. Great opportunity to explore the rural area. The food was good as well as the pool.
