So this place has the best view you can imagine. Its just stunning when you wake up and have this view. Also they offer you a great tuk tuk driver if you want to go to lipton seat to a fair price! Just a top place to stay.

This place is like heaven on earth. Situated on the edge of a cliff. It's like living above clouds. Most spectacular view. View from infinity pool is priceless. rooms are very clean. The food was delicious. Staff was very and welcoming to make your stay feel like you are home. I recommend this hotel to everyone (couples or family). I would definitely go back.

Where do we begin? From the moment we stepped through the door we were knew this was going to be a highlight of our holiday. The hotel arranged a free pickup from Haputale train station and greeted us with a hot towel and a welcome drink. The location and view are breathtaking, the food is amazing and plentiful, and the cocktails were some of the best we’ve had. The rooms are beautiful with such attention to detail. We won’t spoil some of the wonderful touches that you will experience during your stay, but you will not be disappointed. The main reason why this place is so special is thanks to the wonderful team of people who work here. Exceptionally attentive in an understated kind of way. In a country where we have experienced nothing but great service and genuine hospitality this place really takes it to the next level thanks to everyone we met during our stay. We were made to feel like this was our home from home and loved it so much we extended our stay by one day. The ride up to Lipton’s seat is a must and we recommend walking part way back to enjoy the serene atmosphere of walking through the tea bushes and the tea pickers. Also, be sure to walk around the hotel property. If you are really lucky you might be joined for breakfast by the inquisitive monkeys. Sure, it’s not going to be the cheapest place you stay, but in our opinion it’s worth every penny. If you are looking for a little piece of heaven in Sri Lanka you’ve just found it! Definitely our favourite hotel of our holiday.

We loved our stay at Amaya! It's a very cosy place with an amazing host. He helped us with advise for activities and was very friendly. The breakfast and dinner were amazing! We very much recommend a stay here. The location is very good, in the city of Haputale and in a walking distance from the station. The views here were amazing. We would love to come back!
