    Not many food options in the area. Beach is okay not great. Ocean beyond the reef is very rough, no real swimming area. Area is also not very upscale, compared to other areas we have been to in sri lanka.

    Lovely place to relax. Large beach.

    Lovely place to relax. Large beach. Not many restaurants on the beach and not as populated with tourists as other areas we visited, but we loved spending time in Shah Shah's and found a sun bed to relax in with an umbrella. Also recommend Pier 88 to eat out in near by Aluthgama, lovely river views and good quality food. Also recommend Kandoori if you fancy a bit of Indian cuisine. We didn't do many day trips as we had already done some in Mirissa but we did do a boat safari that was pleasant enough. Great location if you want to be relatively near to Colombo and the airport. We mostly relaxed by the pool and had Ayurvedic massages so recommend finding a nice hotel with good facilities. Worth a visit.

    It was one of the best place i ever stay. The Villa big and comfortable, and with amazing designe, very fast WiFi, we worked remotely so was great to connect to business calls, also we had a business room😻. Moragalla beach very close just 5 min by walking and secret beach as well very near. The host the best person i ever meet, his hospitality and kindness are blessing. He helped us with all issues, like our best friend. It was great welcome and great check out. I exactly recommend this place. And i would like to turn again one day.

    This is a absolutely great place to stay. Right at the beach and with the friendliest staff. Sam who is the owner is such a kind and caring person. He drive us in his own car and show us a beautiful tempel, looked up the train time for us and was all the time very caring about that we had a good stay. The room is big with good AC, wifi and a altan where you can see the sunset over the ocean. We would love to come back one day!

    A place with a huge grassy garden ( you could even kick a ball there) with beautiful bushes. Very large and clean pool that we enjoyed a lot! Rooms are large, good shower, comfy bed, fridge and kettle. Staff is very friendly and always available. We had a late flight and got a late check out for extra €.You are 100m walk from the beach and from the turtle hatching center.

    Very beautiful, calm and clean house. Dilush and Nipuni are lovely people. They picked us from the airport, drove us around and to the beautiful beach with their TukTuk, showed and explained us a lot and truly gave us a real Sri Lakan experience. It was like living with the locals. Breakfast is handmade and fresh.
