The amazing view and beautiful gardens. The large confortable rooms. Visit to the local tea factory and walk to world’s end. Most of all the wonderful staff including Terence, attentive manager and Jakati, the chef who prepared delicious meals every day and presented it with a wide cheerful smile. ⭐ (10/10) Fetnale Retreat was simply unforgettable. Set in the mountains and jungle, it had the most breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere. Getting there by private car was a challenge, google maps is simply not accurate. Best way is to contact resort before. The team is outstanding, booked only a day before and they managed to make us feel at home. Will come back for sure

Location is incredible. Staff is so friendly. Got the honeymoon suite for half the price of the website, therefore great value for money. The tent was a dream and we are so happy that we spent one night there. One thing that could have even further improved our stay: a bootle of bubbles in the minibar fridge - we would have bought it :)

We really enjoyed how we have been integrated, we felt just like another member of the family. We were looking for an authentic experience to spend aluth aruvudu (Buddhist new Year) and we could not have dreamed of something better than the few days we lived at the SNF. After 1month and a half we have never experienced this kind of welcome elsewhere. The whole family is very open minded, intelligent, sensitive, curious but what probably touched us the most is their willingness to share everything: Food (of course) but also what life learned them in general whether it is practical skills like cooking, cutting a coconut, observing nature or more "soft skills" like their view on life and their wisdom. We hope to come back as we know this was a unique and special experience.
