The house and room were immaculate! Everything was very clean and smelled amazing. It was nice to be greeted by the staff upon my arrival and showed to a clean room immediately. The bed was very comfortable. There was a large wardrobe to put all of my things and a full-length mirror. The bathroom was also spotless. The shared living room was nice with comfy couches to sit and talk with other travelers. The kitchen was fully stocked. I absolutely recommend this place and will stay any time I'm back in the area. Also the host was very responsive and helpful before my arrival and during my stay.

Ran by a wonderful family: this organization is working on mending the relationship between donkey and human. We stayed at the donkey clinic for a couple nights and got to know the impact of this place. We highly recommend you come stay at the clinic or at least come for a proper tour and get to know the donkeys and the people behind the project. Thank you to Al Hathir, and everyone involved in your organization! Donkeys deserve care and love too ❤️

I stayed there for a couple of nights. The place is new and clean, at that time it was not even completely open. Neighborhood is quite. I really liked swimming pool. Personnel of the hotel was really nice, especially I liked the food. If you are traveling by bus, the bus stop is just outside the hotel, so you can easily get to Mannar bus station

    Mannar is town in the far north-west of Sri Lanka, there are...

    Mannar is town in the far north-west of Sri Lanka, there are not a lot of "tourist" things to do there. there is an 500-year-old dutch fort that got damaged during the civil war and a big tree. the people are fantastic and very friendly but don't speak as much English as "advertised" shopping is limited but really good value. Mannar is not a tourist town but it is real northern Sri Lanka so if you go there don't expect to be entertained. the food is great but once again it is standard Sri Lanka food there is nothing fancy. there is a western styled place that does pizza and burgers in town and is the most expensive place to eat, yet still is very affordable. Dont expect to find Air Conditioning in any of the stores. Tuk Tu's are always handy to get about town and buses can be caught to go see the sites further a field.
