The rooms are beautiful and the staff is very friendly. We did the safari at the hotel and it was amazing. Our driver was very good and we saw a lot of elephants up close. Breakfast and dinner were both good. Near a beautiful river, designed with the environment in mind. Highly recommended for a few days stay.

A True Hidden Gem – Absolutely Worth Staying! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with incredibly warm hospitality. The owner and staff went above and beyond to make me feel at home – truly attentive and caring. My room was huge, beautifully decorated, and exceptionally clean. It had both air conditioning and a fan, ensuring comfort at all times. The bathroom was impressively spacious, and I even had a fridge – a very practical touch. The entire property is surrounded by a secure fence, offering a real sense of peace and safety, away from the hustle and bustle of traffic. It’s a quiet little haven where you can fully relax. The pool is absolutely stunning – perfect for a refreshing dip or lounging by the water. Both breakfast and meals were excellent, delicious, and clearly prepared with care. One of the best parts? You can even book a safari directly through the property, which is incredibly convenient. All in all, this place is a true haven of peace – I loved every moment and can’t recommend it enough. A stay here is truly worth it!

It’s brand new with only 4 rooms. I was only the second person to stay there. The rooms are huge, the shower incredible. The pool is great. The best thing is the staff. The manager and wife are brilliant. The food was great. I went dinner bed and breakfast and glad I did. I was asked what I wanted for dinner each afternoon. Breakfast was good as well. More than I could eat. A variety of items. I felt well looked after. They were always checking that I was happy. Always happy to answer questions. Booked a good safari for me. Thanks very much for a brilliant 3 nights. Best time in Sri Lanka.

Very unique and beautiful accommodation, they put so much effort into every detail of the room. Only one room on the whole property and it's gorgeous, especially the floating bed and net terrace under all the trees. Very kind, warm and welcoming family. Would 10/10 recommend staying here in the Udawalawe area.

Nice peaceful place communal large balcony comfortable bed clean room and bathroom clean and neat. they will take you there for pool activities. final day we were on the safari which is conducted by hotel. fantastic one.
