Our stay at Serene Retreat was truly memorable. This place is surrounded by greenery and offered a peaceful escape from the busy city. The room was spacious, with modern amenities. It had everything you could need, including air conditioning and a hairdryer. The pool area was a real highlight — clean, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing with sun-beds. The food was a real highlight — the breakfast spread had a variety and catered to different tastes. The staff went above and beyond, always welcoming us with a smile and offering helpful tips about the area. It was a perfect get away for us and would love to come back again.

We had a truly wonderful stay! For Sri Lanka, this was exceptionally high-standard accommodation — new, spotlessly clean, and it really gives off hotel vibes. The pool is amazing — large, beautifully maintained, and lit up at night, creating a magical atmosphere. The owner is one of the kindest hosts we’ve ever met — always available, incredibly friendly, smiling, and genuinely helpful. He even accompanied us to the bus stop on our departure day and stopped the bus for us, which we truly appreciated. Breakfast was generous and absolutely delicious. Thank you so much for everything — we couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

This is amaizing natural place on the bank of the river with big very old trees where you can see a lot of birds and another wild life. The house is made with only natural materials with passion and love. Host are unique and the food too. Everything was great! A lovely little cottage in a beautiful little jungle garden. The family that ran it were exceptionally friendly and couldn’t be anymore helpful. Loved having them share their knowledge of all the spices and fruits growing in their paradise! Highly recommended. ☺️
